My dad is amazing! Not only is he a great dad, but he’s also an incredible musician. I’ve always admired his talent and been inspired by his passion for music. My dad was born in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and immigrated to the UK as a teenager. He started playing the guitar at a young age and began writing his music. He formed a band and started performing at local venues. In 1992, my dad was diagnosed with cancer and underwent surgery. He was told he might not survive, but he battled through and continued making music. He released his first album a few years later and started touring worldwide.
